WEST VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION - DIVISION OF WATER AND WASTE MANAGEMENT

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection plays a huge role in the conservation and restoration of ecologically important systems in the state. The Division of Water and Waste Management is just a small part of a very large operation. I tried to focus specifically on watershed management and those who were involved when putting this basic presentation together, but there is some information about other projects that stray a bit outside of that realm. I highly encourage anyone who views this to take a look at the links embedded within the slides as they are a great starting point for further research into areas of interest.

This photo depicts all of the watershed that are in West Virginia. Some of them are mentioned in the presentation.
